On June 19-20, 2024, all DISCKids project partners gathered in Jyväskylä, Finland, for a productive transnational meeting. Hosted by our Finnish partners at Jyväskylän Liitokiekkoilijat, the event brought together representatives from the Finnish Disc Golf Association, Latvian Frisbee Sports Federation, Pfeffersport (Germany), and blinc eG (Germany).
Throughout the two days, we discussed key areas of the project, such as the progress made on developing youth disc golf programs and the steps needed to strengthen our network across Europe. We reviewed the monitoring processes and set actionable goals for the upcoming months. Each partner contributed valuable insights, ensuring that we stay on track and achieve our mission of promoting disc golf to children and encouraging outdoor physical activity.
The meeting reinforced our shared vision and commitment to making disc golf accessible to more kids across Europe. We’re looking forward to the next steps in this exciting journey and continuing our collaborative efforts.
