Goal of Teach-VET is to develop an electronic tool for the self-assessment, monitoring, guidance and comparability of the teaching competence of VET teachers. Having in mind the complexity of this task and it’s relevance for the VET systems in many countries, as well as the variety of the policies, approaches and practices of development and assessment of teaching competence of VET teachers in the EU countries, this undertaking requires strong international partnership.
The project partnership consists of 6 partners from 3 countries: VšĮ Elektrėnų profesinio mokymo centras (public VET centre) from Lithuania (project co-ordinator), Vytautas Magnus University Institute of Education Science from Lithuania, Blinc eG from Germany, Institute for Technology and Vocational Education at Bremen University from Germany, Research centre CARVET at the Verona University from Italy and Association of VET centres CNOS-FAP from Italy.

The methodology behind the development of intellectual outputs is based on the analysis of the teaching processes in the initial VET and identification of the teaching competence needs. On the basis of comparative analysis of these needs in the partner countries there will be designed the contents of the on-line instrument for assessment and development of teaching competence for VET teachers and trainers.

TeachVET is an Erasmus+ KA2 project running from 10/2018 to 09/2020. For more information visit the TeachVET project website.
