TRAIL Training Course: Advancing Inclusive Mobility for Disadvantaged Adults
We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the TRAIL C1 Training Course, a landmark event that brought together 24 dedicated participants from across Europe for a truly transformative learning journey. This five-day intensive course, part of the broader TRAIL project, focused on fostering inclusive learning mobility specifically tailored for adults facing mental health and neurodivergence challenges.
The training combined expert presentations, peer-to-peer exchange, and hands-on group activities to build essential competencies. Participants gained practical skills for planning, facilitating, and supporting accessible mobility experiences that prioritise emotional safety, accessibility, and user-centred design.
Key Highlights from the Course:
- A comprehensive exploration of competence-oriented learning approaches, empowering adult educators to develop and assess critical attitudes, knowledge, and skills essential for inclusive mobility.
- Engaging workshops that addressed the barriers and facilitators impacting learning mobility for psychologically vulnerable learners.
- Practical tools and exercises designed to cultivate empathy, readiness, and collaborative co-creation in planning mobility experiences.
- A collaborative spirit emerged, as participants formed a strong community focused on tackling real-world challenges together.
This training represents a significant milestone within the TRAIL project, setting the stage for upcoming initiatives that include piloting inclusive mobility programmes and co-creating valuable resources.
