We are delighted to introduce you to SMERALD – a ground-breaking project aimed at improving the digital skills of European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Funded by the European Union, SMERALD aims to raise awareness and develop skills in digital data, data analytics and artificial intelligence among SME managers, employees and vocational trainers.
Our mission
SMERALD’s mission is to enable SMEs to become key players in Europe’s digital transformation. By promoting an understanding of the immense market potential offered by digital data, we aim to equip SMEs with the skills needed to effectively exploit these opportunities.

- Inventory of business cases and testimonials: Collection and sharing of real-life examples of digital data applications.
- Competence Framework: Development of a structured framework to guide the development of digital skills.
- Open learning platform: Providing accessible resources and training materials.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Qualification Course: Providing a formal qualification to support ongoing professional development.
