We are happy to announce the launch of the Self-assessment Platform for vocational teachers and trainers. Together with the Institute for Technology and Education ITB at the University of Bremen an online launching event will take place on Monday, the 8th of June 2020 at 16:00 CET.

TeachVET’s aim is to develop an electronic tool for the self-evaluation of the teaching skills of vocational school teachers and trainers and to provide them with teaching materials for further qualification, tailored to their individual results. The development of the instrument was based on the analysis of the teaching processes in initial vocational education and training and thus the development of pedagogical competences, the identification of existing systematic problems and bottlenecks as well as the needs of the teachers/trainers themselves. Based on the results, the contents of the online tool for the assessment and development of the teaching competence of teachers and trainers in vocational education and training were be designed.
