We are pleased to share that the online mentor training within the UNITE Project has been successfully completed! The sessions brought together mentors and educators from Sweden, Germany, Austria, and Poland, all committed to enhancing their capacity to support the long-term labour market inclusion of Ukrainian refugees. πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ’ͺ

Across three interactive sessions, participants explored the full UNITE Toolbox, gaining practical insights and hands-on experience in areas such as:

βœ… Understanding national systems and integration pathways
βœ… Strengthening mentoring and coaching competences
βœ… Encouraging individual progression and self-leadership
βœ… Connecting participants to education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities
βœ… Promoting health, well-being, and social inclusion

The training aimed to ensure that each mentor is fully prepared to apply the UNITE methodologyβ€”blending research-based approaches with personalised guidance to foster meaningful and sustainable integration outcomes.

Our sincere thanks go to Tommy Elofsson (Folkuniversitetet, Sweden) for expertly facilitating the sessions and to all partners for their active engagement and collaboration.

Next up: putting the learning into action as we begin piloting the UNITE mentoring programme across all partner countries! ✨
