PRACTICE

The PRACTICE project – Preventing Radicalism through Critical Thinking Competences aims to develop EU-wide continuing professional development (CPD) programme for teachers focussing on promotion of social, civic and intercultural competences and critical thinking of secondary school students.
It is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme and it will last 36 months.

Update on Practice

The PRACTICE project is facing COVID 19 – and as this has an important impact on the piloting of the ” Practice Programme for the Prevention of Radicalisation”, the partnership is adapting and changing the way the programme is rolled out to teachers and students. PRACTICE – Summer school training in Citta di Castello

At the beginning of September, the Practice Team met in Citta di Castello, Italy, to test and adapt the material developed and the methods of the program for the prevention of radicalization. PRACTICE – Upcoming Summer School in Italy

On the basis of the comparative research report, the Practice Partnership developed the programme on the prevention of radicalisation. PRACTICE – short Update on the project

Update -In the period from April to July, the practice partnership completed the comparative research report on the situation regarding the prevention of radicalisation in schools. Detailed desk research and an intensive field research phase – involving 40 schools, 63 teachers and 27 stakeholders in 6 countries – resulted in a comprehensive report containing the most important findings.
